What do I need to hook up a printer to a Q.S-1/2 any information would be wonderful.

qs1 or 2 has an rs232 output on ps6..just check your transmit/receive termination and your jumper settings if you have pt1- printer or the config settings if you have other type.

qs1 has an output rs 232 in ps 6 if you have printer other type( epson lx 300+) you can set same baud rate in the panel and printer
