Anyone have a list of CM (1/2) cpu options?

Post by old_tech »

I know they made:
CM1
CM1NX
CMIN
CMIN-SG
CM2N
CM2N-SG

We're working on a networked irc-3 system that is randomly locking up. the stiickers are missing from the main cpu card.
The main panel has only a ZB0-8 card while the cm-2n nodes are populated with zas-2 cards.
Versions of firmware aside (3.3/4/5.0/5.1/5.2), would a CM1NX or CM1N-SG be interchangable?
Like my username is, I cant find my old manuals and havent dealt with this in a loooong time.
Thanks, Pete.

its been a long time since anyone has touch an IRC3 system.

on the comm board are RS485 chips that are in sockets so they can be easily replaced.
two per CM1/2 comm board. I would just replaced them all. It is a good chance this will fix it.

If anyone is interested, I work for a company that still supports the EST-IRC3 system with both parts and repairs, including most of the CPU's that went with the IRC3. Unless it's alright with the moderator, I won't publish the name of the company here on this forum. Otherwise, anyone looking for parts / repairs can send me a message through this site. Thanks.
