Yeah, I just replaced one today. It has the 2.5 microcode in it. I had to install the programming software on my PC and kept the old 1.8 version software on just to be safe. I had to rebuild the whole system from scratch. Luckily, I had a fire alarm inspection sheet and the system mapped out exactly...

That has been my experience. I have taken a module or head out, and get a map fault when I put it back in. I always have to connect with the PC and reconcile with the new map and all goes back to normal. EST-2's are notorious for picking up on small changes in the loop. I have experienced moving wir...
